Frequently Asked Questions

Does our wedding have to be in London?
No! We have a network of musicians all over the UK. Although we are best known for London, feel free to submit a booking request to check availability in your area.

How many hours can the musicians play?
There is no set timing, as every wedding is different. Typcially, musicians play for between 2 and 4 hours - but it's up to you when!

Can musicians play outside?
Of course. Please ensure there is an indoor/covered option in case of rain or intense sun. Rain and intense sun damages their (very expensive) instruments.

Can they play for the bride isle walk?
Absolutely - and we will do our best to accommodate any music requests - free of charge. Our muscians are experts at timing the walk - they will loop the music if necessary and fade out elequently.

What is your cancellation policy?
Once the initial 50% deposit is paid, this is non refundable. At this point, musicians will have been allocated to your wedding and it will be in their calendars. If your wedding is cancelled, you will not be liable for the remaining 50%. If your wedding is postponed, we will accommodate all reasonable requests to reschedule the musicians at no cost.

What space is required?
Have a look through some of our images to get an idea of the space required for each group size. Corners of rooms or gardens are ideal - where the musicians can be seen and heard clearly and are not blocking walk ways etc. Remember they will need space for their music stands in front of them too.

Do I need to provide the players with anythng?
An armless chair for each player and a suitable space. That's it! Many organisers also provide a drink or two - it's thirsty work, and you don't want the music to stop! For longer weddings, our team may also suggest providing food.

What do they wear?
Most commonly, smart black dress. For ladies this will be long black dresses, and men this will be black trousers and black or white shirt. If you have any requests, please include them when submitting the form. Check out our images to see examples of dress. Crucially - the group will always be coordinated (unless you request otherwise).

Do we have to request music?
Not at all. Our musicians will come prepared with lots of tunes - anything you request will simply be added to the list. Likewise, anything you'd prefer not to hear can be removed.

The Process

After submitting your booking, you will recieve an email from our team, typically within 30 minutes.They will confirm the arrangements for your wedding, the fee, and address any questions or concerns you may have - including any special requests or instructions.Once everything is in order, and you are happy to proceed, a deposit of 50% will be raised in order to secure the musicians and your booking. Please note this deposit is not refundable.In the lead up to the wedding, we will be in touch to finalize details such as musician placements (reception, bride walk etc), timings, and any other information the musicians require.In the weeks after your wedding, you will receive an invoice for the remaining 50%, completing the hire.
